The Ark is now seeking to appoint a Governance and Compliance Officer
to manage and deliver the compliance and related reporting across a
range of key governance and corporate areas. Reporting to the General
Manager, this new role will implement The Ark?s governance plan and
ensure ongoing compliance with the accepted best practice for a
charitable organisation.
As well as delivering the compliance activity and support to a high
level, the scenario provides scope for someone with an aptitude for
compliance to enhance and develop where necessary the systems and
practice required to support the effective delivery of compliance. It
is a role, which requires an effective communicator who can positively
instill a focus on compliance across the organisation and support the
compliance-related service required by the Board.
